Stoner Mon Vanity Cards

For my Drawing I final project my senior year of Pace, we were allowed to choose what to make. As such, I decided on doing vanity cards for a planned animated adaptation of Stoner Mon, a planned comic series featuring Jazzy, Paulie (as the title character), and all the others down in Borland.

Vanity cards are the still frames that play during the credits of TV shows. Those that inspired my project were MTV classic Daria, which featured its characters dressed as celebrities, characters, and other costumes, and Comedy Central’s Ugly Americans, whose credits showed their characters imitating iconic stills from film, TV, pop culture, and history.

These cards are my way of giving back love to the works that inspired me. Enjoy.
